I grew up in the capital district and graduated from Mohonasen High School. After graduation, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to study and attended SUNY Morrisville and earned my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. While I was attending Morrisville, I realized my passion for Communications and decided to further my education by attending the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill. There I received my Bachelor's degree in Communication, Media Production.
Following college graduation, I decided to “take on the world” and work and live in New York City. I worked full time as a Publicist for various Public Relations firms promoting consumer products, book authors and more. I also twilight as an Emergency Medical Technician for two different ambulance companies. Helping people was always a passion of mine.
I moved back to upstate NY (first in Schenectady and now in Averill Park) to settle down and raise a family. I worked doing school district public relations and having always had an interest in real estate, I decided it was time to take the plunge and try something new.
I soon realized, real estate was my calling. I not only get to use my communication skills but also my ability to help people. The client is my reason for doing what I do. Helping to explain the process to new home buyers and guide them through, supporting my client's best interests instead of my own, and always leading with integrity and honesty.
When I started real estate working for another firm, Kellie Kieley was my mentor who taught me the in’s and out’s of the business. It wasn’t easy at first (as I had no formal training) but Kellie showed me the ropes and was patient with me throughout. I probably would have failed if it wasn’t for her guidance. Years later, I am so fortunate to be working doing something I am passionate about and I am very excited to be working with Kellie again at Kellie Kieley Realty!
I currently reside in Averill Park with my husband Anthony, and my 3 children. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, volunteering, lounging and boating at my lake home on Sacandaga, flying single-engine airplanes and target shooting at the local gun club.
